This exceptional 2024 cello draws inspiration from the famous Guarneri “del Gesù” model “Messeas” 1731. The back is crafted from poplar sourced from the Cremona area, just like the original instrument, ensuring a connection to its historic roots. The top is made of exquisite Italian red spruce from Val di Fiemme, featuring a large, well-marked grain that offers both elegance and outstanding acoustic properties. Both the poplar and spruce have been naturally seasoned for over 10 years, adding to the instrument’s superior sound quality and durability.
The cello is finished with a warm, brown spirit varnish, carefully produced in-house, which highlights its natural beauty while providing protection.
